A nice fish for this first time angler.

It’s gonna be a HOT low water summer. At least that is what all the weather think tanks and data point to. You never know…One thing is for sure, we don’t have much water left in the hills and the Clark Fork, Blackfoot, and Flathead are about ready to pop. These rivers are all on a pretty steep drop and should be fishing great any day. Look for salmon flies, golden stones, green drakes, caddis, and pmds to offer up some good dry fly fishing over the next few weeks.

Fortunately we live near the Flathead river system. Regardless what the weather and water do over the next few weeks we have a large glacial fed river that fishes well all summer, even on hot drought years. So if you can’t get out here and take advantage of the great conditions in the next few weeks, the Flathead will be a good bet all summer.

We have some new salmon flies, pike streamers & poppers, bass/panfish poppers and jigs, and a bunch of new streamers in the shop.  We also have a bunch of new logo gear and hats on the way. Stop in and check it out.
