Fishing has been productive on the Flathead River. Warm weather and stable flows have the fish feeling like its spring. Some bigger lake-run fish are around this time of year to help keep it interesting. Slow swinging buggers on a trout spey or nymphing with the usual winter fare has been getting action. Give us a call if you want to take a jet boat ride or drift boat float down the river and swing’m up and do some nymphing – we might even see some risers in the afternoon with this warm weather. The snow on the hill has been dog doodoo this year so why not go fishing?
