The weather has been pretty weird this year. It rained all December and now it feels like spring. Some of the guides played golf today! The fishing has been great! The main-stem Flathead River is fishing well. Nymphs and streamers are the norm but a warm/calm afternoon might see some fish up on midges. Clark Fork, Blackfoot, Missouri are all in good shape and enjoying spring-like conditions. Looks like a little dip in temps heading our way but still nice enough to get out and catch a few in the afternoons. Flows have come down a bit since our last deluge but the river is still higher that normal for January. We are getting a little bump in flows from the warm weather and SF releases but it shouldn’t be much. There’s plenty of good wintery water out there at these flows. Give us a call if you want to get out for a float. Not much snow in the forecast for skiing so…
