Bigfork Montana Fly Fishing Report

Sooooo, yeah…Probably not gonna be great river fishing on the west side freestones for a bit.  On a bright note, the lakes are opening up and generally they fish really good right after the ice is off. The lower Swan will also remain clear and fishable but it will likely see a large increase in flow making things tough. Increasing flows and water temps might bring a few new fish into the Bay though…It’s not a bad time to get the 8wt out and throw some dead chickens at those beady eyed northerns too.
