Great fall weather and colors out there right now.
The big river fished good today. The afternoon brought fish to the surface to eat pseudos and Mahoganies. We found some fish rising on the slower banks, back eddies, and side channels. We managed to scoop quite a few fish between 14″ – 18″….good fun! A mid sized prince dropper off an October caddis worked well for searching. A purple sparkle dun won’t be refused over risers. Looks like tomorrow will be the last of this nice weather we’re getting then BWO weather for next week. As long as you can hack the cold weather the fish should be willing.
