Sam and Tom with a nice one from the Flathead.

It’s been breezy out there the last few days…not so much today but they say we’ll get some more tomorrow. Fishing has been on and off. It should get more on later this week once this next cold front leaves and the weather stabilizes. We have been seeing some hecubas (fall drakes) and October caddis the last few days so large parachutes mayfies, big cripples, and #8 and #10 orange caddis variations will work well.  Andy just sent us a text from the river and they have had lots of dry fly eats and already landed a dozen in the first couple hours, so it appears to be fishing well today. A #12 purple haze is the fly today.
