Fly Fishing Bigfork Montana | Run Off is Here

Still catching some nice fish locally in the midst of run-off.

Run-off is here and the river fishing is going to be a tough go for a while…unless you are willing to make the 3hour trek to the Missouri. Not to worry, there are lots of lakes to fish and the lower Swan and Bigfork Bay will also be an option for the next couple months. There are tons of salmon flies crawling around the river bank in town and we caught a bunch of fish with rubber-legs a few days ago under the power house. They are definitely keyed in to the stone nymphs in the bay right now. New gear and fly patterns are showing up daily in the shop…
