Nice one from the Clark Fork.

It’s a pretty easy time of year to be a guide. Bankers’ hours are the norm, mayfly hatches are strong, and the weather is very pleasant. You can roll a mayfly pattern down the river from ramp to ramp and catch fish, for the most part anyway. The next few days are looking to provide some really nice fall sunny weather. There are plenty of mohaganies coming off and fish willing to rise even in the bright sun. October caddis fluttering around too. Fish will still eat a hopper on the warm days as well. It’s a great time of year on the river. Very quiet and peaceful. The summer storm has passed and we are winding down, enjoying it as it fades.   The snow will fly soon, get it while you can.
