Rain or Shine

Waiting in the rain.

It’s funny how the phone starts ringing every morning when it’s raining. I know it’s coming when I hear it pelting outside my window at 6am. Guides calling wondering if their peeps are gonna show and clients calling to see if we still go fishing in the rain. We live in tourist country up here. We get a lot of folks who are beginners that are here to see Glacier National Park and don’t really know the drill. Today, everyone showed up and went fishing. They were rewarded with a pleasant afternoon and some nice fish. And yes, we go fishing in the rain.
