Solid Winter Fishing

Some pretty darn good fishing out there today. Really, you should go. The hard part is finding them. Fish are definitely concentrated right now. If you find some, stay and catch them all before you move on. The big deep slow holes and runs are the goods right now and will continue to hold numbers of fish for the next couple months.  There were a few sporadic risers today but the nymphing was too productive to switch.

Found a great new spot to swing today and had a couple solid grabs on the swung fly. It’s good to mix it up. Dry fly fishing soon…
