General Outlook: Everything is fishing pretty well right now. Water temps remain decent and fish are still eating through the afternoon hours. Cooler today and tomorrow with some wind so find a place to hide from it if you can. Hot again later in the week but the fish should start to eat hoppers as hoppers.

Blackfoot River Report: Spruce moths have started. That’s all you need to know.
Bugs / Fly Patterns: golden stones, caddis, pmds, yellow sallies,  / foam variations, cripples, Rouge Stones, 20 incher stones, double bead stones, rubber legs, prince variations, San Juans, sally nymphs

Lower Clark Fork River Report: Still fishing well dispite all the sun and warm weather. Clouds are always welcome but NOT in the forecast. Foamie and a dropper and no need really to change. You’ll catch plenty. Stay out late if you want to hit risers crashing caddis. If your not into the dropper put a parachute caddis or haze of the back. The 97 degree weather in the forecast might put a damper on the afternoon fishing so get out early when it heats up.
Bugs / Fly Patterns: Golden stones, pmds, sallies, caddis / Small Chubbies and willies, Fuzzies, Hippie stomper, Franks, Rogue goldens, Smaller foam variations, Para haze, Quigs, Para caddis, C-duns, Turds, Halo Prince, Da

Flathead River Report: Fishing great. Lots of action and some good sized fish in the mix. They are starting to get a little wary of the big foam stuff so taper down and put another smaller dry of the back. A number 10 chubby with a  purple haze cripple off the back is a great rig. Fish are spread out in all types of water.

Swan River Report:  Fishing fair. Not many big fish eating the dry. Bobber fishing works but who wants to do that?  Mostly twinks looking up but some nicer fish on the dropper or nymphs. Difficult navigation between Fatty and 10-1 with several portages and some tight spots. The Chubby Rubby rig works well.
