General Outlook. Most of the freestone hydro prediction graphs are calling for yet another push of water over the next week. It looks like July 6th will be the peek of the last push and then a slow drop. At least the weather is nice.
Blackfoot River: Still big and off color. Lots of bugs though. It looks like it will spike again over the next few days and then start to drop. There are green drakes, salmon flies, golden stones, caddis, and pmds futtering and floating down the river right now. Hopefully they’ll still be around when it starts to fish.
Bugs / Fly Patterns:
Lower Clark Fork River: Still huge and out of shape.
Bugs / Fly Patterns:
Flathead River: Still a huge beast. They’re starting to release more water out of the S.Fork too………Special.
Bugs / Fly Patterns:
Swan River: The upper Swan is BIG and UGLY! The lower is huge too.
