General Outlook: There sure is a lot of water out there right now. I just drove over Rodgers Pass and it looked like a powder day. 5″ of snow on the ground and snowing sideways.  Looks like more coming from the sky and the hills this next week too. The rivers are all on the drop from the cold weather in the high country but that won’t last long. There is still an unbelievable amount of snow that needs to come down.

We spent the weekend on the Missouri with a group of guys from Texas and had great fun, great fishing, and great weather. THANKS GUYS!  All boats got lots of fish deep nymphing the standard Mo stuff.

As for our local rivers, the lower Swan and Bay are your best bet. Check our post about the Bay for patterns and technique.

This was Steve's first fish on a fly rod with wonder guide Brent

Plenty of nice bows like this one made it to the net.

Nice brown Brent
