General Outlook: High water continues! And more rain on the way too. If it’s not one thing it’s both I guess. Most of our area rivers are unfishable at this point. Look for some fishing options on the upper reaches of Rock Creek and the West fork of the Bitterroot in the next couple of weeks. Both rivers should have salmon flies and some dry fly opportunities very soon. The Missouri River is still fishing great and will continue to be an option through run-off.

There are a bunch of lakes to fish in the meantime. Every other day someone is in the shop talking about a lake we’ve never heard of and how great it’s fishing. Just about every puddle around here has fish in it so there are plenty of lake options out there. We are going to hit Echo for some bass this week so will have an update.

Grayling fishing with kids on Rodgers Lake.
