Blackfoot River Fly Fishing Report

Still a little chilly…

Fished the Blackfoot today. It was cold and windy but we caught some fish. Most of our fish were caught nymphing the primo runs with stoneflies and Juanitas but a few ate the streamer. Even had a few role on the bobber.  We didn’t fish long or hard and we put quite a few in the net. Considering the Orvis circus is in town and we didn’t see any boats, we couldn’t complain. It’s probably going to blow in the next few days but when it comes back it’s not a bad option if you want to avoid the skwala regatta.
