Andy Guy and Client John with a stud on a dry fly.

The weather is finally changing and will bring some cooler temps and better fishing options.  Will it last? Fantastic forecast for fishing this next week anyway. Cool and cloudy with some moisture. Perfect. Look fore some hecubas(fall drakes) and mahogany mayflies to start popping off in the afternoons on all of our rivers. Hoppers will continue to produce on warm sunny days. The kiddies are back in school and the hunting season is upon us. The river traffic has started to thin allowing the fish to relax and get dumb again….I might actually retire from arm chair outfitting and put my guide hat back on. We are ready for fall!
