Flathead River Fly Fishing

Caught a whole bunch of these in a very little amount of time today.

The mighty Flathead fished pretty good today in the sunshine. Once we found fish they were stacked. The river is a little high and green but  fishing decent. The side channels have some water once again and the fish are looking to them for shelter from the heavier main river currents. The lazy water is still where it’s at. A bit breezy today for the dry fly so streamers and nymphs were the go to. Buggers, turds, prince nymphs…yada yada yada.  If flows remain stable the fishing should be good over the next week.
