Flathead River Report

The Flathead has been dropping and clearing for nearly a week. Unfortunately at 16k it’s pretty big and is tough to find fishable water. We checked it today and there are some side channels, soft shelf drops, and slow inside bends that are looking fishy but the bugs and fish just didn’t show up. It looks like the graph is already turning back up so it’s not likely the fishing will materialize before she goes out again. The Blackfoot and Clark Fork are still dropping and should be a good option the next couple days.
