We just got the 2013 Lamson Speedster in the shop and I have to say it is impressive looking and SUPER light. The Super Arbor Speedster is a super-high retrieve rate reel with a narrower spool, inboard mounted handle and an outer diameter significantly larger than Lamson’s other highest performing reels. The narrow spool prevents line barreling, the added circumference and inboard handle improve retrieve rate.
