Took the kids over to “Blind Fold Creek” for the opener today.

The official Montana small stream season opener was today. Most of our rivers and streams are coming up and not going to fish well but there a few options for those who explore. The upper Swan fished decent today. The River is big and off color with about a foot or so of vis but the fish ate streamers pretty good. Flows will probably continue to climb and conditions will likely deteriorate beyond fishable soon. You might want to go hit it now…warm and rainy forecast probably won’t help.
