Bigfork Alpenglow

Winter decided to show up a couple days ago.  Nice evening view tonight in Bigfork with the alpenglow hitting the Swan Range after some fresh snow. There should be a Montana beer named alpenglow…..It could be an amber. Ambers are redish enough. Just a thought.

Too cold to go fishing unless you’re a little off your rocker. It takes a little more than a pee brained trout to get us out when it’s in the 20’s. Maybe a pee brained duck or two or 8″ of fresh on the BIG MTN……..Maybe.

The snow-pack is below normal but inching its way up into the mid 70% range in most of the western drainages. Hopefully we can have a year without floods or fires…….That would be nice.
