We got to sneak out for a few hours and do some fishing today. We hit up some spots on the Reservation around Ronan and found a few good fish. 50 degrees and the sun came out for a while…….Not too bad for the end of December. There are several wade fishing streams with good access that have decent sized fish that are worth exploring. The Jocko River & Mission Creek are both good. Most of the streams have some spring influence so they can actually fish decent in the winter months when we have warm spells. Stone fly nymphs and SJ worms were the most productive today. Streamers fished on the slow retrieve will work too.
