We might not have the most consistent winter fishing options here in the Valley but we sure are lucky to have the Whitefish Winter Resort Big Mountain in our backyard. Regardless of what you do in the winter months, having the option to get some exercise in the sunshine is HUGE for your psyche.  A few powder turns and some cold beers on the deck will help too.

It looks like high pressure and cold temps for the near future. At least it will be foggy and grey. Blah! The cold temps will hinder your fishing options locally unless you like fishing in freezing temps. Highs in the mid 40’s and lows around 30ish is what we like. Hopefully soon. Groomers in the sun sound more fun for now. Last January we hit the 60’s more than once. Will we see it again this year?
