Swing’n

The Bigfork Bay is dropping and setting up nice for a swung fly. Got a few to grab on the swing today. Pretty fun stuff. The lower river below the lake has some good swing runs too. Nymphing has been solid on both the Bay and lower river.

The Flathead Mainstem and Forks are all on a big upswing with the current rain and will probably be out for a while with more rain in the forecast.

The Missouri is the place to be but if you need a local option the lower Swan and the Bay are fishing decent. The Thompson and Jocko are a good bet this time of year too.

With hunting season in full swing the rivers have been vacated so you should have it all to yourself.
