I got to fish the new TFO BVK9ft 5wt today. What a great rod!! I know I’ve already plugged it but casting in the yard snow is different than fishing. I used it for nymphing with a long leader and some weight and it performed really well. Caught a bunch of fish on the main-stem of the Flathead this afternoon and gave it a good work out.

Great rod! Was surprised how TFO has kicked it up a notch. Lots of rod for the money.
Goes great with the RIO Grand.
