Water Watch

Our rivers are all on the drop. The Blackfoot looks good but reports are the contrary. Not enough bugs yet but you can nymph and swim streamers down the bank to make a day of it. Rain is in the forecast for the next several days and could push things back up. NOAA thinks we’re are going to see another push of water soon, I would agree but when is the question…they have been saying it for a week now.  We are sitting pretty good with our snow pack here in the Valley @ 98%.  There will definitely be more water on it’s way soon. There isn’t much snow south of here around Missoula  so the lower C-Fork and Blackfoot will likely come into shape soon.

Here is what NOAA thinks. They get close on the flow predictions but their timing is usually off.
